- Be clear about data. Your privacy policy should not be a 50-page legal document. Provide a simple, easy-to-read summary that explains what data you are using and how it benefits the customer.

- Test for equity. Test your AI's outputs across different customer segments. Does it offer the same quality of service to everyone? Does it understand a range of accents and dialects?
- Involve diverse teams. The best way to spot potential bias is to have a diverse group of people building, testing, and managing your AI systems.
Pillar 4: The Human in the Loop

- What is the worst-case scenario for the customer if this goes wrong?
- How would we explain this automated decision to a frustrated client on a call?
